Q - Can I use someone else's account?
A - No.† Unless the account holder is at the Nature Exchange with you, you cannot use their account.
Q- Why do you use my email address and telephone number for the account?
A- Many people have the same name, and we use telephone numbers and email addresses to differentiate them..as well as to keep in touch with you!
Q- Can I bring 1000 pine cones to trade?
A- The Nature Exchange has a policy of no more than 5 of any item being traded in at the same time: it is not quantity that matters, it's the quality.† Additionaly, one of our primary goals is to have traders leave a light footprint on the environment.
Q- Can I bring my live cat and trade him in?
A- No!† Nothing that is alive can be traded.
Q- Do you delete accounts that haven't been used for a long time?
A- No.† Accounts remain active indefinitely.
Q- How long is an average trade?
A- About 20 minutes.
Q- What type of items are worth the most number of points?
A- Unique or unusual items are worth the most, but more common items accompanied by much information can be worth just as many points.
Q- What types of people work at the Nature Exchange?
A- There are many people, or all ages that work at the Nature Exchange from 13 year old volunteers to seasoned naturalists.† The common characteristic is that everyone has a passionate interest in the natural sciences
